Prime Minister Jan Aushadhi Yojana is a campaign run by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India, under this scheme, the government will soon open more than 1,000 public dispensaries across the country for the purpose of providing medicines at 60 to 70 percent less from the market.
Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers Hansraj Ahir said that these centers will get services of B-Forma and M-Formulated youth and they will be given a new name. If you want to put your own venture into a very low cost, then you will be surprised to know that these people can get a contract for these medicines at just Rs 2 lakhs.
So far, 600 Jan Aushadhi centers have been opened in the country in terms of data. A commission of 16 percent is also given on the sale of medicines for these medicines. According to this plan, the responsibility of the government is that it supplies the continuous supply of generic medicines to these centers. According to the rules, this scheme was limited to only select institutions of government, however, now any pharmacist or doctor can open a public drug store.
